The ex-atheist you lie about being would realise that theism has to be
taught. He would have OBSERVED all the Hindu kids whose parents taught
them to be Hindu, the Christian kids whose parents taught them to be
Christian, the Jewish kids whose parents taught them to be Jewish, the
Islamic kids whose parents taught them to be Moslem, the Buddhist,
Shinto, Confucian, Zoroastrian, Sikh etc kids who all learned it from
their parents. And most importantly he would have OBSERVED that kids
who weren't taught any deity don't become theist - as evidenced by a
whole slew of atheists in this newsgroup.
