Re: Everyday Activist

Your "solutions" are most often the real problem, pinko. If you seek

I never once said that I am a socialist, or implied it.

You don't have to.

there are other
alternatives to capitalism, not just socialism.

Such as...?

I do embrace freedom, the
freedom to not be oppressed by a system that works against human interest.

Living off others' charity and largesse isn't freedom, either. It's slavery.

All are welcome!

Even capitalist swine?

Yes, even capitalist swine :o) I'm not in the business of discrimination,
i'm trying to educate and promote positive change.

How is your deceitful diatribe against capitalism positive?

Though I don't agree
with capitalists, I do think that many of them have great ideas to promote
positive change and am therefore unwilling to exclude them. No matter who
affects the change, no matter how small that change is (ie: growing your own
food because it saves you MONEY, and is therefore a better move in a
capitalist system) then I can't look down on it.

Self-sufficiency and capitalism aren't mutually exclusive; you cannot have capitalism without resourcefulness. It's something the socialist and communist states have finally accepted, which is why they're increasingly more capitalist.

However, if you are solely out to hurt other people, then there is no room
for you. Negativity and hatefulness is not tolerated, whether you are a
capitalist or not.

How is it negative or hateful to ask or expect you to carry your own load and not turn into a ward of the state or of others?
