I think you'll find that the *largest* number of sexual child abuse
are father-daughter, uncle-niece and brother-sister... and just as
most sexual relationships between adults are hetro, so are most
sexual relationships between adults and teens/children... same
goes for rape.

I actually wouldn't drag pedophilia into it at all.  Pedophilia is a
sexual attraction towards pre-puberty children... usually cases
of sexual child (or "child") abuse -- wheter they're hetro or
homosexual either:
   -crimes of opertunity -- a father abusing a daughter, a teacher
abusing a student or a priest abusing an alterboy (IMHO, if there
had been alter*girls*, then the situation would have been even
worse).  These are all people who uses trust or a position of
power to have sex.
   -statutory rape -- someone having sex with someone who
legally (and probably emotionally) is still a child, but who's
body is that of an (almost) adult.  In biblical times and in many
culture still, such realtionships would have been the norm
(well, after marrige).  This has nothing to do with pedophilia,
but the natural attraction of a male towards a female -- and
then often towards a female as young as possible (because
she's "unsoiled", probably not already pregnant and --
because of her youth -- may bare the male many healthy
children).

...or a combenation of thsese two (like fathers who *don't*
start abusing their daughters until they reach puberty).

In any case, the greatest cause of sexual abuse of children
are *not* homosexuality but *family*!
