manufacturing could possibly be profitable when the workers are making

Not sure what defines "industrial", and how he defines "largest", but
it appears he is wrong again:

has US corporations in the top 7 positions based on market value, in
17 of the top 25, and with 16 corporations larger than the largest
Japanese firm (Toyota).
