I had a chat with an evangelical minister and others at a party the other
night, when the question arose of why my views don't align with their
church. "My views are more inline with the Unitarian Universalists", I
said. "They'll take anybody." Guffaws all round!

Humor aside, there's a truth in there for me. I don't yet recognize a
distinction between those who express these statements:
1. I'm with the UUs because they offer X, Y or Z.
2. I'm with the UUs because the other religions do not offer X, Y or Z.
