The Germans should listen:

"you cannot have democratic accountability in anything bigger than a
nation state."

Germany may disappear as a nation Germans maybe subjected to big far
away buerocracies staffed with fat pigs in fine suits snouting their
way through the ample feed that they innsist be fed to them.

More importantly the Germans, who are disappearing as a people at a
rate of 35% every 20 year generation due to a very low fertiltiy rate
of 1.38/children per woman and a very high immigration rate need to
wake up.
