Indo-Pak friendship deepens



20 Indian children offered treatment 

ISLAMABAD, Dec 2: Federal Minister for Health Mohammad Nasir Khan here
on Tuesday said Islamabad had offered India for the medical treatment
of 20 Indian children in Pakistan.

Speaking to journalists here at the Pakistan Muslim League House, the
minister said he had announced this offer during his recent visit to
India on the occasion of Saarc health conference.

Nasir Khan said: "Pakistan has given this offer in response to the
medical treatment provided to a Pakistani child in India."

He expressed the hope that due to Pakistan's sincere efforts, the
peaceful atmosphere would promote in the region.

The minister told the newsmen that during the visit, he also met the
Indian Vice-president and conveyed the messages of President Gen
Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali to him.

He termed his visit very successful. 

During the Saarc health summit, Pakistan had suggested the formation
of a Saarc Rapid Deployment Health Team. The proposed team could
effectively deal with any health related problem in the region, he
