Speak for yourself.

While the US may have taken some unwise actions, IMO they genuinely
believe they are acting in self-defence, and I don't believe they are
'evil' in the sense of Saddam Hussain or Robert Mugabe.

This is a red herring.

Islamic terrorists didn't need the excuse of an 'illegal' invasion to
launch the 9/11 attacks, don't forget. It was *their* action that
perpetrated the current consequences, not GWB's.
