No wonder there's a shortage of teachers in the USA

Before I give up teaching kids like so many others in my 'profession', I'd
like to hear others' opinions on which cultures treat teachers the best. I'm
not thinking primarily of money, but of working conditions, respect of students
and support generally. Mainly I'm concerned about class size, autonomy, and
discipline.
