There are a few facts you should know:
1. The persecution in China is still going on.

2. Falun Gong practitioners in the US, Australia and other countries ARE
being given refugee protection - most of them are people who are already in
the country and cannot return to China because they will be persecuted.
Falun Gong practitioners are not after refugee status. Many have families in
China and wish to return.

3. Why did the persecution start? Read the article. It wasn't because of any
"public situations".

4. Human rights and freedom of belief is something every person should have.
China is not known for this. Falun Gong practioners are being persecuted for
following Truth-Compassion-Forbearence.
