What do you think of dual citizenship Kaz? Instead of dangling visas to those of Japanese descent, the government would find it a lot easier to encourage people to come to Japan if they simply issued Japanese passports to the diaspora in the first place. It works well for countries such as Ireland, no reason why it wouldn't for Japan.
