Re Algerian Education Reform

Salam you all.
I have friends and members of family teaching; I have four family young
students waiting for the strike to end.
Under the economic, education and justice reforms, it takes time for all
concern to adapt and comply with the order of things.
According to Art. 58 - The trade union right is recognized to all citizens.
Art. 57 - the right to strike is recognized; It is carried out within the
framework of the law. The law may forbid or limit the strike in the field of
national defense and security, or in any public service or activity of vital
interest for the community.

Teachers are underpaid in one way, yet making up for it in another.
Long vacations and holidays adding to a short week makes it possible for a
teachers to tutor and charge for their services.
That is a view from a student.

The constitution law is not fully understood or accepted by some; During the
strike process we as concern parents are getting a better understanding of what
is right and what is wrong.
I would not like to be the minister of education during this time of reforms.
It's easy to denigrate to harm the reputation by libel or slander and showing
intense often vicious ill will.
I do not consider myself an expert of the Algerian constitution, but I have in
front of me the book in three language.
The minister of education is no dummy, he has to comply with the laws in the
book just as the teachers have to abide by the very same law. It is complex
and sometimes one sided especially if your livelihood depends on. Hopefully
serenity will prevail and things get back to a better and effective educational
system we all want for our children.

With Love and Respect.
Rashid
