Amazing what one can learn from the internet! Well, I scarcely presented that as news, so your silly joke was uncalled for and just another example of selective snipping. Basically, the cannibals view pygmies as fast moving snacks which have been put in the jungle for the convenience of the fittest cannibals who can catch them.. That is, if we wanted to engage in the "new morality" exercise of always trying to understand how the perpetrators--of ANYTHING, no matter how horrible--see things, we might try emphasizing and in that vein strive to get in the mind of a hungry cannibal who simply sees two-legged snacks running around the jungle. Just imagine being hungry and seeing tamales or hamburgers or corn dogs running around on two legs! Yet, that should be neither here or there. We can understand the cannibals, but that does not mean we, as civilized human beings, can fail to deem their actions physically revolting and morally reprehensible. > > > Hobbits beware! > >
