The mental health community is getting a little fractious about it. Here in
Denver, the cops have killed three or four mental health patients, one a
female, in the last year or so.
Mental health professionals deal with such people *all the time* without
killing them- they wonder why cops can't rise to the same level of skills,
that's all.
