Did I miss something? What did the original post have to do with cluster bombs? As far as I know, fasting is not a recommended part of a healthy lifestyle, at least for children. > > >>and write a paper on the experience to show them a > >>little about another faith group and culture. It may have something to do with the fact that America is a geographically isolated country. Or, the fact that America is, for better or worse, a nation of immigrants. Or, perhaps, knowledge of the type required in the test to which you refer is not really a valid indicator of a broad world view. It might be interesting to know how the Serbs, the Russians, the Syrians or the Iranians did on this geography test. Let's get a little scientific and see what kind of correlations fall out of this litmus test of world view to which you refer... But then, if you're starting from the premise that America is the most criminal, exploitative, racist, anti-democratic war-monger nation in history, then it shouldn't take too much effort to find "evidence" that we also hold a "narrow world view". Heavens! I assume you'll be leaving the US as soon as possible... > > >>They might grow up to be thinking, feeling, > >>educated individuals with minds of their own and that would be the end > >>of Fundamentalist Christianity and the Republican Party all together. > > > > > > All the dune coons have to do is tell their mullahs to go fuck themselves > > and then they can join the rest of the secular world in the 21st Century. > > > > > >>Wow, glad you showed us all the way. > > > > > > Thanx. Religion, science and politics have become intertwined. America > seems to have reverted to the Middle Ages. And what kind of cell research and abortion rights do your Islamic friends have? Ask your wife if she would prefer to live in Syria? In Syria, a husband has the legal right to execute his wife if he suspects her of infidelity. And if you are Christian, you had better get those ideas of marrying your Muslim sweetheart right out of your infidel head. Here's a test for you: Name all the Muslim countries which are democracies, have a free press, practice the rule of law, tolerate religious minorities, and allow uninhibited scientific research. You can have ALL the time you like.....
