I just give you and easy example... currently in US the church made protest against the GAY marriage.... GAY is something created by the freedom of democracy... yet church and democracy are on the different side... do want to say that religion must be compatible with democracy??? To certain degree of course YES, but so many moral values in democracy do not match the moral-values in religion. Are you saying Hindu support GAY?? Religion will not obsolete, religion is the guidance of moral values... and democracy is something that offer nothing on moral-values. Unless you don't care with moral....and more important... democracy do not recognize GOD. I don't say that we shouldn't have democracy... of course democracy is a great things.. but we must put in proper context.... > I think there is no reason to believe that Islam will never be > compatible with democracy. > After all many religions were based on rules but over the time they > became obsolete. > Manu had rules for Hinduism but they never came with conflict with > democratic values.
