I know a lot of people who canceled their scores the first time they took the GMAT. You should definitely allocate yourself enough time to take it twice if necessary. Also, the sooner you apply the better chance you have of getting in for a lot of grad schools. Applying in Spring, would put you at taking the GMAT for a first time in December. By mid-January you should be sending those apps out if you don't plan on retaking the exam. If you already started studying in the summer though, then it is a good idea to take it in Nov. because spending more than 2-3 months studying is just unnecessary torture, after a certain point the extra studying doesn't help too much and it just gets you tired. good luck, Robert http://www.GMATquiz.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Mary) wrote in message news:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... > [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Dan) wrote in message news:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... > > Hi, > > I want to apply to schools this spring 04, to enroll for the Fall '04. > > > > When is the ideal time to take the GMAT? > > You should plan on taking the GMAT at least a month before the > application deadlines, to ensure your score arrives on time.
