Re: consolidation of student loans



The lenders have incorrect information leading them to think you have already finished college. That commonly happens when a student drops out for awhile, transfers, or is still in college more than 4 years after taking out the first loan.

As for your credit record, a bunch of loans identified as student loans, or just one large one from consolidation, should make no difference on your credit reports unless you are in default.
