Rather than fiddling around with _approximate_ measures like "chi square"
that have implicit and questionable assumptions built into them, such as
"large sample size" and "drawn from a normal distribution," I suggest you
simply apply a direct bayesian hypothesis test of the two hopethese,
"contemplatives and the general population have the same `handedness'
frequency" versus "contemplatives and the general population have different
