Re: Senior year of undergrad- what to do?

The main problems are- 1. I'm too far into my college career to change my major to anything

On the other hand, if you do change it's better to do it now before you "waste" any
more time. I'm not necessarily advocating that you do, just pointing out that you'll be
a year-and-a-half ahead of the game changing now than waiting till you finish your current
degree.

The other approach, which is probably more practical, is to load up on as many
electives in your other field as you can get. You might even consider going for an
extra semester if you think it will improve your prospects in the new field.

2. I don't know if I'd be able to get into grad school to get a stats M.S. with only a minor as an undergrad. Even though most schools I've looked at say that they require a B.S. in stats, would I be able to get in based on the undergrad research work I've done plus having the minor in applied stats?

Since I don't have any familiarity with stats programs I can't give you a definitive answer.
However, most graduate programs are fairly accomodating about allowing someone into
the program as a provisional student as long as they've got a background that gives them
a chance of succeeding in the field. You might have to be self-supporting while your
making up your deficiencies, but if you've got the practical experience they'll probably
be more willing to work with you in setting up a program.
