Is "Peter Pan Syndrome" a DSM-IV diagnosis, or pop psychology?  I don't find
it in any of my textbooks, but I imagine that you could be referring to some
sort of personality disorder.  According to what I have read in textbooks
and peer-reviewed journals, the cycles of behavior are not "friggin endless"
in all cases.  With a patient and understanding therapist, or even a few
semesters in the school of hard knocks, some of these people eventually grow
out of their in appropriate behavior.  I find no mention of locking the
patient up with Liza Minelli or "having fun with" his disorder as effective
interventions though.
