Re: c = constant

The reason I gave, you decided to ignore, refusing to look at the evidence.
This is actual data, taken from thousands of amateur astronomers.
You've accused me falsely of all the things you're guilty of.
Go away, you are a pontificating fool, not to be bothered with.

Do not give up yet. You are one of the few SR critics who seems to be ready to acknowledge your assumptions and offer another theory. I have been trying without success to discover if kenseto has any content to his ideas, but cannot get past his logic errors, and HenriWilson is not willing to admit his implicit assumptions, and makes simple physical errors.

I am willing to examine your ideas, but first I want to find out if you can explain well known phenomena. Like most people, I have toyed with ballistic models, but I could not get them to agree with things like aberration and related experiments or Fizeau's experiment with moving water. When you add to this the extreme accuracy of QED, which is based on EM equations that have no source dependency, I had no trouble giving it up.

OTOH, when you try to prove that SR is inconsistent, or based on mathematical errors, you will fail every time. As I wrote to you before, there is a big difference between claiming that the light postulate is wrong, and claiming that SR is inconsistent. The first claim is simply doing science, as long as you look at *all* the evidence, and develop it consistently. The claim that SR is mathematically inconsistent is doomed to failure, as its consistency has been tested and verified. *If* SR is wrong, it is in the postulates, not the mathematics. If the postulates are correct, then all that SR predicts must be true. (This is not to say that it is not possible to make mathematical or physical mistakes in applying SR, just that if such mistakes are not made, the predictions will be as reliable as the postulates.)
