Hi, I'm hardly a physicist (professional or amateur) but I just helped produce a DVD that might interest some of you (It's called "Spectres of the Spectrum"). It's a fictionalized centuries-long history of the development of electromagnetic technologies, from X-rays to atom bombs, from television to the Internet. The film includes a lot of material on Nicola Tesla, Graham Bell, Marconi, and others. If that's not uncommon enough for a feature film, it's mostly composed of old science films from the fifties to the seventies. (In fact, a lot of it came from the old "Science in Action" series that the California Academy of Arts and Sciences released in the fifties). Here's a link in case you'd like to find out more: http://www.othercinemadvd.com/spectres.html E3-I: This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by UML's antivirus scanning services.
