This article makes no sense and is typical of the popular press bull crap
surrounding hydrogen and other complicated technical issues. It talks of
raising the temp of the water to 600 C with light then using electricity to
convert the water to H2. It talks of the electrical portion of "light
particles " and the heat portion of light. This is a funny way to look at
light. I would like to see any body raise the temperature of anything to 600
deg C, never mind extracting any energy from it, with an efficiency of 30%.
That temperature from sun light will require focused optics with solar
tracking and will be very prone to energy loss by convection and radiation.
I think this is another hydrogen hype article without basis.
