Every once in a while they test the public to see if they are ready for nuclear power, say something simple like a "dirty bomb" scare or a news story about an "accidental release" or how "terrorists" might have smuggled a nuke in and so far the very mention of the words "nuclear" atomic or god forbid "radioactive" or "radiation" strikes a primal fear deep inside the average american joe-sixpack comsumer. Ironically the tests are doomed for failure as it is the ignorance and misinformation and dread of accepting responsibility for anything (cummon ya spilt coffee on yourself yeah it burns, but your stupidity caused it and burns do heal, all that matters is thay you learn from the mistake!) at all that is the heart of the problem. If the dumbing down, "idiot proofing" and irresponsibility continues our country will become like "A brave new world" or fail into disolution anarchy and chaos. The time to accept responsibility and protest the "Great ___ must save us from ourselves" atitudes is now. It must end and sooner the better before it is too late and we loose freedom of speech too!
