For large countries, maybe so.  For small countries/tribes systems
based on sharing are common, and work quite well.  I live in Bali,
with 4,000,000 people, and communally owned land and sharing are quite
common and works well.  This has been going on for over 1000 years. 
Many books and PhD. theises(sp?) have been written about this.

I think they resent what is being done with that power.  Of course,
the more power the more resentment.

The terrorist attacks were based in Saudi Arabia, one of the
wealthiest countries in the world.  So how can this be due to
resentment of western wealth?
