Unfortunately no, not in North America. Their numbers are large and
growing.  They are for the most part the innocent dupes of a well
funded fundamentalist propaganda press, and each of them has a vote. 
They are industriously at work seeking election to  local school
boards so they can censor school libraries. They have already
frightened the high school textbook publishers into dropping all but
the most passing mention of evolution from biology texts available to
American schools.

 In your country evolution is a scientific issue.  In the US it's a
political issue. To the ultra-conservative right wing fanatic
'evilooshunism' is equated with humanism, atheism, Communism and
denial of God and is viewed as part of a Satanic conspiracy to attack
Christianity.
