Re: Q: fiber collimator

Look under Beam collimators on www.doriclenses.com . We can assemble any lens to fiber and under loose or strict requirement. There is table of lens diameters produced by different focal lengths.

I'm helping a co-worker try to locate a company that will sell single-
mode fibers bonded to a quarter-pitch GRIN lens, a ball lens, etc. so that the light exiting the fiber is reasonably collimated. Wavelength range is visible, and the tolerances are fairly loose except for the diameter of the exiting beam: as small as possible.

So far I've looked at OZ optics, Ceramoptics (sp?), Edumund Scientific, etc. etc. etc.... and no real luck. Any clues? Thanks in advance.
