Lasse, Yes, the application I'm trying to solve is military in nature, but its for signaling purposes that would be widely applicable in the commercial field as well. We are tracking the movements of people signaling with their arms and want the movements to be decoded with image analysis. As such, the reflective material allows us to illuminate the signaler without blinding them with unusually bright visible light. Or, they may be standing is a bright sunlit setting and we need to be able to reflect off of something that can overcome this additional illumination. We have selected 880nm but are finding the off-the-shelf reflective materials poor reflectors in this wavelength. And thanks for the suggestion.
