There's a place in London (Covent Garden Market) where they scan in your
face and then produce a 3D portrait in a block of glass - or it may be
plastic - in less than an hour. I've seen the results - they are truly
impressive. And I'll post again - prices and technology - when I next get
chance to get down there.
