Changing PSA results

Hi,
Back in 1993 I had a TURP at age 55 (under a local and listened to the
cricket throughout and occasionally took a look at the medical TV monitor).
I had been suffering all the usual problems, had to go to the toilet
constantly - very miserable time. After the op and a post op PSA of 1.4 all
was well. Ten years latter I had my PSA checked in March 2003 and it was
5.2, later again in July and it was 4.7. I went to my 10 year older
Urologist who got me to have another test this time 3 weeks ago. Just got
the results 5.7!! I'm seeing him tomorrow night. Since the TURP I have had
no symptoms at all. I can go to bed at 9, 10 or 1 am and I sleep through. I
can pee standing up! and in public blah blah blah.. Coincidently around
March I decided to take Saw Palmetto anyway (160 twice a day) together with
Q10. Basically just because I was approaching 65 and vanity I guess!!
Any comments most welcome. I haven't had a biopsy but I think that's what my
urologist will be suggesting tomorrow. Not too happy about that prospect
cheers

Fred
