Hello I am here with a computers background

Hello to all of the Medical Physisits,i have an interested set of
questions for you people, by basic degree i am a software enginner and
i have worked on many projects in the software industry. luckliy i got
admission in one the good universities here at Pakistan in the course
of MSC Medical Physics, what i want you people to comment on is that
what help would i get in this field with my computer back ground and
as u are aware of my background what specializations iw old be having
in this field which would some how use my previous education in a
major way
