Bottom line,  what you are saying is that one excludes the other so your
hypothetical can not be answered based on logic.
You are saying a person who has a stroke can not fall.
He must not have evidence of trauma either wise it is not a stroke. That
premise is false so your hypothetical then becomes false.
I would go into one of those spy stores and get remote listening or pin hole
cams to monitor care if it is at all pertinent but then again it's a
hypthetical???????
