AHCD Treatment

Hello there...
My mother is suffering from AHCD (Anterior Horn Cell Disease) which
had been diagnosed about 6 months before. Though, she had started
facing the problems related to the disease from around 2.5 yrs back.

Of all the physiotherapy and all there's no respite. Her left hand and
legs are almost dysfunctional. She has slowly lost her ability to move
her right hand also. Need to know about any sort of treatment that she
needs to undergo.

Consulted many Neurologists, but in vain. Could anyone out there,
guide me as to what's the treatment. Also, could you please explain
what exactly causes this disease?

I am a resident of Gujarat, India. The patient is about 60yrs Old.

Any information, guidance is greatly appreciated.
