Hello, I am a Kienbock's sufferer, diagnosed in my mid-40's. Given the descriptions of symptoms I have found on the Web, I believe I have just entered Stage III last week. The only treatment offered me is intercarpal fusion (I believe PRC or arthrodesis), which I am unwilling to undergo because I fear the decreased mobility will affect my ability to make a living. I have googled for the information, but have been unsuccessful in finding out how prevalent this condition is. How often is it diagnosed? Since being diagnosed myself, I have come across many others with the disease. I also suffer from a debilitating denegerative arthritic condition in my right knee with accompanying deformation. I am currently in my late 40's. Has my name been changed to I.M. Scrood?
