I don't get the punch line?
Distillation as  it becomes evaporated and then that vapor condenses back to
liquid form upon cooling is a normal natural process.  Conservation of
matter as it only changes form based on energy level.
Distillation as a means of separating chemicals based on boiling point is
done all the time.  It is a means in purification and pure water is not
toxic.
