I'm going into biostatistics -- I'm avoiding med school specifically because I'm not into the empathy game of feeling sorry for the starving baby whales of the Amazon. But as the old adage says, "turn a weakness into a strength." Are there topics of medical research where having a stone heart is an asset? Maybe something along the lines of pediatric pain management, death rates of pediatric cancer patients, stuff like that. Thanks
