Pneumonia shots

Is it OK to have a pneumonia shot before the 5 yr period is up? My Dr
couldn't find the records of when I had it last, I think it was in 97,
my wife thinks 3 yrs ago, will it be a problem if I have it and the
last time I had it was only 3 yrs ago?
