Intermolecular epitope spreading in exogenous antigens?

Hello,

Does anyone have information on intermolecular CD4+ T cell epitope
spreading within protein antigens? For instance, if you immunize a
mouse with a garden-variety protein immunogen, will responses to
discrete regions of the protein develop temporally? Has anyone looked
at this? I am aware of the epitope spreading literature around EAE and
other autoimmune diseases but I haven't seen this phenomenon described
for exogenous protein antigens.
