If there is not enough wrap area under pressure around the arm then the pressure which overpowers systolic and permits diastolic might both be higher. However, I recommend that you do not try to guess the accuracy but wait until you get the larger cuff. Accuracy of BP monitors in general together with fluctuating BP makes for more than enough variables. Phil Holman
