How sharp is Mom? Is she competent, reasonably active, handling her own affairs? My mother is 83 and I wouldn't dream of going to her doctor (with or without her) and asking about her condition or medication -- unless she asked me for help. I *might* suggest getting another opinion if her current doctor doesn't seem to be helping her <whatever> problem. bj <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > On 7 Nov 2003 16:58:18 -0800, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (GotOuttaIdaho) > wrote: > >Is increased arthritis (or arthritis-like) pain a side effect from > >Fosamax (online information is not very specific about this)?
