I take photographs to record and to study. It doesn't have anything to do
with my enjoyment of what I'm looking at; I enjoy taking the photographs.

Fine. English is our language, but I can't accept that it is our use of it
that civilized us (I thought it had more to do with the internal combustion

My mother didn't care which language (French or English) was spoken. Too bad
that Gaelic is almost lost; it's a beautiful language, especially in song.
