I apologize for not being more specific (and failing to
notice where the cross-post was headed). I was referring to
our specific situation, metastatic breast cancer.

Or we'll find an unconventional therapy that works. As
someone said in alt.support.cancer.breast a while ago, we
want to make sure we've given it our best shot. - Tony
