Notes: There is no conference registration fee for A Multicultural 
Caribbean United Against HIV/AIDS. However, because space is limited, 
both local and international participants are asked to preregister by 
completing the Registration Form. The deadline for preregistration is 
January 5, 2004 . 
Description: The conference will target HIV/AIDS researchers, health 
care and service providers, and persons living with or affected by HIV 
in Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, the Bahamas, Belize, Dominican Republic, 
French Guiana, Guadeloupe (including St. Barthelemy and St. Martin), 
Haiti, Martinique, the Netherlands Antilles (including Bonaire, Curaçao, 
Saba, St. Eustatius, and St. Maarten), Puerto Rico, Suriname, Turks and 
Caicos, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The English-speaking countries 
targeted were selected because of their significant Spanish-speaking 
populations. The conference will be conducted in Spanish, French, Dutch, 
and English. Conference presentations will address topics such as HIV 
prevention; vaccine research; treatment, care, and support; stigma and 
discrimination; mother-to-child transmission; and issues related to 
vulnerable populations.
