Well, your meaning is not completely clear. The "periodic windows", as you
call them, are dense in the segment 3.7 - - 4 , i.e. there is one, say, as
close as you want to 3.9. This means that even if 3.9 is chaotic (i think it
is, but even this is hard to prove), there is a window (extremely narrow,
and with a very long period) at 3.9000000000001...., say.
