I'm quite keen to get sci.logic FAQ 1.0 posted on 1/1/2004, being such a
binary rich logical date !?##@
That gives us 4 weeks so here is a brief schedule :
week 1 : brainstorm old posts and questions that get asked often
week 2 : I will collate a draft and post
week 3 : Group suggestions
week 4 : 2nd Draft, final changes
1/1/2004 1st of monthly postings.
The goal would be to give new people opportunity to understand the majority
of posts and from a typical mathematical background gain the basics to join in.
I think this would ultimately increase the members to make a larger more prominent
group.
It does rely on G. Frege completing his formal proof tutorial as I see this as
paramount,
FAQ 1 : How do I prove x ?
FAQ 2 : What is Godel's proof ? (not another discussion, I'll try to find a
consise version).
Some other posts I've seen repeated are the set of all sets http://tinyurl.com/l2pt
Russels paradox http://tinyurl.com/xiih
Here's my introduction:
a priori a posteriori
-----------------------
synthetic | math | science |
----------------------- The KANT-TAYLOR bi-dichotomy.
analytic | logic | sophistry |
That's 10 minutes reading already, so about 5 to 10 FAQs would be ideal,
any suggestions welcome, ideally give the URL to Google that gives the best answer.
