Actually, it is the only thing I used for getting a start on learning
kanji.

After getting this far into this reply, I pause and reflect, "Yeah,
Cash, and look how lousy your kanji knowledge is". But I have managed
to make it through three trips to Japan somehow, so maybe the book
didn't serve me so poorly.
