Experiences with MuTech frame grabber boards

I have recently purchased an old MuTech MV500 board for testing 
purposes, and plan to install it with a microscope-mounted camera. It 
turns out that image is satisfactory, but VFW drivers are very unstable. 
I have tried the MuTech sample application and it works fine, so I was 
considering to buy their SDK.
So, I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with it - 
stability, ease of use, documentation... With which compilers it works, 
which boards (apart from MV500/510) it supports, which Windows versions, 
etc.
