image database

I developed an algorithm to jointly compress and classify images.  Now I'm
trying to find an appropriate image database to compare the performance with
other image compression algorithm.  I think the image should have different
textures for classification purpose.  I thought medical images with diffent
tissues might meet the requirement or remote sensing images with different
land usage.  Could you recommend me such image database?
