In my evaluations the iFinder looked to be a pretty good unit. With the price of the basic unit down to ~$125 I think it's a great value. The four differnt models are iFinder - Just the GPSR iFinder Atlantis - White face GPSR and a 16M SD with marine navaids loaded iFinder Express - GPSR and a 32M SD card loaded with searchagble POI iFinder Plus - GPSR, 16M SD card, a USB card reader/writer and MapCreate 6 mapping SW One drawback is that the unit is not waterproof and comes with a waterproof pouch. Not necesarily a bad thing unless you plan on taking it into the shower..:) Yes it can be connected to a laptop with an optional cable.
